rusty diva

"Rusty Diva" is a sensory amplifier. A machine of civic pleasure that works with a rotational movement that produces optical illusions. The city was the source which supplied me with materials needed for the machine: a bicycle, wheels, metal wires, chains etc. Through the upcycling process a counterweight, pulleys and a rope throughout the building engage the energy for the rotational movement.

The Installation has been created in the context of "Sensory Amplifiers Workshop" held by decaARCHITECTURE for the University of Thessaly
